Bah, while doing a pacifist run, I'm stuck on level 9.
I don't have any explosive weapons to use to launch myself from platform to platform at the last part. Anyone have any ideas how I can get past those platforms?

Note:
You can restart your stat points by holding crouch, then hitting the use key 4 times and hit kick. it'll make you go through a level 1 cracking thing, then it will blast you back after you succeed, and you'll have all your points back, but lose all weapons you have, and only have 1 health bar left. and once you do this, then you no longer gain health from using the health point terminal thing in that sector, but you still get the maximum thing.

Same here. Haven't beaten it yet, but I got that far. I hate this game for making me feel guilty about who I kill.

Wait till you beat it... The ending almost made me cry... now to go back and play it on EXTREME! without killing a single person :awesome:

EDIT: Nevermind I forgot that was the wrong direction.

Also, I just killed Tor on Pacifist mode with Maximum Charge on.
Took me 4 tries to figure out I could dodge his YOU DIE NOW laser.

What platforms? I don't recall anything particularly difficult about Sector 9. Maybe you just need to lern2jump.

It was those platforms near the top with the assassin near it.
I saw the X and thought that was the end because I have a bad memory.
Apparently the only thing up there was a secret or something.

So I went and tried to figure out those platforms, and remembered that there is a poster up there... and THE BANANA GUN! :awesome:
just get like 4-5 points in health, then use the weapon in the 4 key (not the nuke, the original weapon) when your against the wall on the platform, use it and you will blast up to the next one

Just beat the game with 0 kills(On previous runs I had at least 1 kill because I didn't read the log that lets me make a yellow death laser)
Ending was even more awesome.
Also I'm addicted to this game.

I'm a sucker for a good story and enjoy reading the logbooks and waqtching the cutscenes more than anything in this game

also, I just beat Sector Z. It's quite trippy.

Also, Also, there is an option thing you can get called the scrambler. it messes around with text in the game, though I think it only works on the log books. you have to kill this one Tasen dude to get it though, and he is a B*tch to kill... I think he was locked up in a room in sector 5 right above the poster

Edit: I just tried out the konami code, and all it does is make fun of you :C

Speaking about which... how did you get in there? I mean, I know where it's located, but I can't seem to find a Rocket Launcher.

You have to kick that one soldier in the beginning over so that he can shot his missile at the wall next to the elevator. but appearently you can't go into Sector Z until you've found all the posters in the game. I'll try to get a couple of screenshots here in a bit

Also, I've just gone through it a second time, and haven't found the null driver... :C

Hey, I just finished playing Iji and reading Heat.
Doing a pacifist run now, and having fun killing Tasen/Komato in ways that don't count as kills.
Question though, does using the trapmine count as a kill? I don't want to let Dan die.
