Alright, I started playing and managed to get past Ominas Crowe. The bosses feel easier than I remember when I played the game like a year ago. Like I remember Holly Whyte casting Cure a bunch and pissing me off and she didn't cast it once this time. I played on Normal both times.

Nope, no, I take it back. Almost every boss in Ch. 2 is just as much of an asshole as I remember. Fuck Mephilia, Einheria, DeRosa, and Rusalka.

OK, I am officially in the part of the game I've never played before, starting with the three paths through Eternia.

Zombie Dragon was easy, Guardian was annoying and hard, and I also beat Victor and Victoria, who are GOD FUCKING DAMMIT HARD.

I'm supposed to beat stupid fucking dragons just to get a stupid fucking new class and THEY CAN MAKE ME WEAK TO THEIR ATTACKS ARE YOU SHITTING ME WITH THIS

I did it by beating them in one, maybe two turns. But another way is all ninjas, dodge every attack.

I have a Knight/Spell Fencer, White Mage/Time Mage, Monk/Valkyrie, and Black Mage/Thief. Is it even POSSIBLE to beat them in one turn with that setup? I am 2000% mad about this.

Have everyone subclass Ninja. Equip the Red Mage ability that gives you +1 BP when you evade an attack. If you have room, then also equip the ability that lets you attack for free when you dodge. Then Utsusemi all day erry day.

All of the Dragons' attacks are physical. Every single one. Even their big elemental attack. They alternate between making you weak to their type and then hitting you with their type.

On turn one, set up everyone's dodge. Now, when you get hit, you avoid the attack, get the BP back to set up the dodge again, and still have enough BP to do your actions normally.

I took no damage at all from 4 out of 6 dragons using this method.

OK I BEAT SALAMANDER. AND WITHOUT HAVING TO RESORT TO DUMB EXPLOITS. JESUS CHRIST

Tiz: Monk with Miscellany, Flame Charm
Agnes: White Mage with Time Magic, Flame Charm
Ringabel: Black Mage with Spiritism, Abate Fire ability
Edea: Knight with Sword Magic, Flame Charm

He uses his stupid dumb move that makes you weak to fire every three turns, so I just sacrificed Tiz until the end of the battle and used Fairy Ward or whatever it's called when needed, since Ringabel outspeeds him. Edea attacks and Agnes heals and does the time thing when necessary.

Oh, and I'm just playing on Normal.

If you still have the IceFlame Shield from the Temple of Fire, equip it on someone and you can't lose.

Also three dragons down! Jabberwock was kind of a pain in the booty because I didn't have enough Courage Rings for everyone.

Build BP with spiritmaster so you can overwrite the weakness with greater spirit ward as needed

Also give everyone the red mage passive BP Recovery, +2 BP for everyone when the dragon does that thing

FUCKING VAMPIRE CASTLE

I was doing just fine, figured out how to beat the enemies, then I got into ONE fight with Hellhounds that got first strike, killed me in TWO FUCKING TURNS because all of my party members were slower than them and I couldn't do a FUCKING THING about it.

So now I get to do the entire thing ALL OVER AGAIN.

I found grinding around Eternia helped a lot with exp and job points when I had to do that.
