Liza and Tate kicked my booty a lot.

But one time I was using Cacturne and they really couldn't do much. Basically just go for dark-types. Cacturne was good because it resists Earthquake (but ugh that Flamethrower did me in).

R/S/E had the toughest gym leaders by far. They're all capable of kicking your booty if you aren't well-prepared.

Especially Winona, since I always used Blaziken.

But Tate and Liza were easy, even with Blaziken. Just fish up and catch a Sharpedo off the shores of Mossdeep.

Not to mention I was ready to kill something every time I played Pokemon Puzzle League.

Lt. Surge match. Every three seconds.

I have a thing for military uniforms leave me alone But yeah, I don't particularly like his TV show rendition either.

Oh god I remember Pokemon Puzzle League. I was horribly addicted to it for the longest time. And then I got the GBC version and was able to divulge in my addiction on the go. :B

If I remember rightly, I was trying to train up a Whiscash to beat Tate and Liza with (can't remember what I used alongside it), but every time I fought them I'd lose and would then promptly have to go back to grinding. Yes I sucked

God fucking dammit.
But the evolutions look so lame!

Also, for some reason the new trainer girl in B/W wasn't good enough for the show. Wat.

And we finally get some racial diversity. At first, all we had was Brock.
The mexican.
With the italics.

If he's not Mexican explain why he has a ludicolo, and randomly produces maracas, a sombrero, and a poncho from his backpack. :U

Maybe he's mexican asian.

I'm pretty sure he's full Japanese...

You guys do know that certain Japanese do have dark skin....right? Like farmers I guess?
Or maybe just Japanese from rural areas.

I'm pretty sure I've seen dark skinned Japanese.

Actually, my friend Ricardo is full Japanese descent and he has dark skin.
Granted he was also born and raised in Brazil. But still, not all Japanese are super pale skinned.

well of course not, its just that you assume they'd be black because they're farmers.

I thought he was just a different asian. Like Chinese or Mongolian or whatever. It's hard to imagine a japanese person drawn like an actual japanese person in an anime.

I'm pretty sure he meant that those who are farmers are in the sun a lot and thus are very tanned.
