I never got why you couldn't just catch fainted pokemon.
I mean, they're still there aren't they?

NO.
THEY DISAPPEAR IN A PUFF OF SMOKE.
Also for some reason I distinctly remember knocking out the Electrodes in Gold with Lance one day as we were walking through a casino to get to a buffet. It was dark and I had my GBA and I was using the lights of the gambling machines I walked past to see.

Of course not.
They teleport to the Pokemon Production Factory (PPF), where that Caterpie you just burnt to a crisp is cloned into ten more Caterpie, which are then sent back and you will encounter them over the next ten steps you take in Viridian Forest.
Don't you hate that?
When you want to grind for levels, NOTHING SHOWS UP.
But when you want to get through this cave as fast as possible, you get a Zubat every three steps.

I had both Stadiums (along with Snap, which was awesome
if partially because of Mew at the end). I remember playing my Red version using the TV thing, putting one of my Pokemon into the daycare and then just leaving it on for about half an hour and going to do something else, because I didn't know that it counted steps.
God I got so excited waiting for the first Pokemon Stadium to come out. I'd have dreams where my dad would have set it all up ready for me and I'd just run over and start playing it. :B

God I was so relieved when they finally released the SP with its built in backlight. I didn't have a GBA, but trying to play my GBC at night or whilst on holiday in some bright sunny country was a nightmare. ._.

When I first got my gold game I didn't actually have any trouble figuring out what to do--most likely because I had watched a friend play it previously.
I remember the first time I beat the Elite Four in Gold. I was at my parent's friends' house and I was the only kid there, so I retreated upstairs to this person's guestroom where I had a huge struggle for victory that lasted almost all night. I remember as the credits just finished rolling my dad came up to see what I was doing and told me we'd be leaving in a half hour.
I was sooooo pop flyin' :'D

YES.
The SP was PERFECT. Backlight and flip screen.
It was a baby DS.

Oh gosh yes. As soon as I got two SPs (because I was a lonely person with no friends to trade pokeymans with) I sold my GBA for like, ten bucks. It was kind of sad because it was my first video game console but at the same time I was like YESSSSS I CAN PLAY POKEYMANS AT NIGHT NOW!!!

Even with the GBA I played at night.
Batteries cost a lot, though.
Two for the GBA, two for the flashlight.
I think I was addicted.

I want a sequel to Pokemon Snap so bad.
I think I figured out how to catch Pokemon, but since I didn't know how to buy items, I soon ran out of Pokeballs. And I thought it was so unfair that they could just faint the Pokemon in the anime.
As for my team, I usually picked Charmander, and I think I kept Raticate in my team for a while, for some reason. I also had a Kadabra on my team all the time. I didn't even know how unfair Psychic types were back then, my reaction upon encountering Abra was just that I had to catch it because omg cute.
The SP was so awesome back in the day.

Another awesome thing about the SP: rechargable batteries. Having to go out and buy new ones every time they died was a real pain with my GBC. ;_;
My brother had the attachable flashlight thing (I didn't have a GBA since I didn't want to part with my Colour just yet and Ruby & Sapphire weren't out), but he kinda accidentally sat on the GBA while it was attached and broke the screen. :B
And when he got a new one he accidentally left it on the plane as we were heading back from a holiday. I can't help but wonder where it is now.

Pokemon Snap is available on the Virtual Console. My older brother bought it for his Wii. He and his fiancee play it.
I got into arguments with my sister about Yellow.
I'd get through Viridian Forest, save, find something else to do for a while.
Come back, and there's another file saved in Viridian City.
WHAT.
Start over, get through Viridian Forest, save, go do something else.
Come back, and ANOTHER FILE SAVED OVER MINE.
I explained to her that the Pokemon games only HAVE one file, and to stop saving over my file.
And rechargeable battery for the SP was fantastic.
Mine was always plugged in when it wasn't in use. It was always fully charged.

A Pokemon Snap sequel would be awesome, although there would be a lot more Pokemon to take photos of. @_@ But I wouldn't mind if they cut a load out, just as long as they at least have a Mew and a Magnezone in it~

Well, they didn't have every 151 Pokemon in Snap, so I don't think a sequel would have all the new Pokemon either. I wouldn't mind having quite a few Pokemon to photograph though. And when I got bored I could throw stink balls on Bidoof or something.

They could make one based in a different region, like how it's based on a non-specific island in Kanto.
