Yeah, they're pretty difficult.
Really? That's pretty neat, actually.

I think I used a knife or something to get the clip on the pokewalker.

...Still haven't found my pokewalker, btw. :(

Yeah, Quagsire really does.

I surprised myself when I battled Red the first time.
Quagsire's Earthquake got a OHKO on Pikachu. Of course, the rest of his team annihilated all of my team, so I did a lot of level grinding then proceeded to lose again.

The only thing that worries me is his Snorlax and Lapras. I don't want to get Blizzard raped and their defenses are probably too high to one-hit.

Quagsire moveset:
Ice Punch
Earthquake
Waterfall
Amnesia

I might just replace Amnesia with something else, but I don't know what yet.

Black & White are looking pretty awesome so far. :D Three on three battles look like they'll be interesting, if a little hectic. ._.

You have Hail condition to help take out Snorlax. Hit it a few times, then heal until the hail takes it to the Full Restore zone, then hit and heal.

Lapras is nearly impossible unless you have a good Electric-type attack, or you just get lucky.

Ugh, not looking forwards to facing Red. All my team except for one are weak against either Electric or Ground, and no doubt at least one of his Pokemon will know Earthquake. >_> Looks like I have a lot of grinding to do.

His Snorlax is easier now because it lacks Rest. :I

Arrange your team so you battle each of his Pokemon with something that knows a move that is super effective.

Red's team, and a bit of information that I'm sure you could all figure out for yourselves:
Like Rock Slide on Charizard, any Fighting move at all on Snorlax, Electric moves on Lapras and Blastoise, Fire moves on Venusaur, and the move on absolutely everyone's team somewhere (it should be, anyway) Earthquake on Pikachu.

I was thinking Curse but it seems that the only way for Quagsire to get it is breeding and I don't want to go through the trouble of EV training again. I'll figure something out.

Hmmmm... think the tarantula could be a new evo for Spinarak/Ariados?

It has those things jutting up from its back end like Ariados:

Also, Ariados undergoes a massive colour shift when evolving from Spinarak, so shifting from the red colour to the yellow/blue of the new tarantula isn't impossible.

Also means there could be more extra evolutions coming our way.

I like the look of Ononokusu (The gold-plated lizard/bug) and the mole thing looks interesting too.

There's definitely a style-shift here, these Pokemon have a different kind of feel to previous generations.

That red and blueish Pokemon in the screenshot above Zorua.
Possibly an evolution for Probopass?
If so, I'd be shocked. Something to do with Nosepass that doesn't look too silly.

The colour palette is the same.

I was struck by something familiar when I saw that Pokemon myself, actually.

And what's the deal with three Pokemon on the field? TRIPLE battles?
