they're talking about if you change the ball it's in, then the master ball could be resued and thus abused

Ah, right. I get what's being proposed now.

What's being said is:

01. Use a Master Ball to catch a Pokemon.
02. Transfer said Pokemon to another Pokeball of choice (for colour or whatever).
03. This means the used Master Ball is now vacant again, and can be re-used.

No, I don't think that'll ever happen.

I wouldn't mind having all my Cockfighting Society inside a different kind of ball, mainly because of the color of the radius the ball unleashed when the Cockfighting Society is send into battle.

They should just make seals less annoying to use, since you have to assign them on and off whenever you want to switch pokemons.
please stop that right now

They could put it in (as in that the original ball breaks when you switch to a new one)... but I highly doubt they will. The ball type is a form of bragging right; catching a Pokemon in a Premier Ball is a lot more impressive than catching one in a Dusk Ball, and catching a Pokemon always takes more work than breeding one and just getting a regular Pokeball.

And agreed on the seals. It's highly annoying that you need to put in so much effort just to apply and remove a capsule. The capsule applying options should be in the PC Box menu (or failing that, the Pokemon menu) and it should automatically remove a capsule when you move it back into the PC.

You could easily just buy ten pokeballs hundreds of times to get hundreds of premier balls though.

I am in Kanto! I waited until today so I could get a Fire Stone and get a Ninetales.
Lt. Surge fought in Poke-Nam.

And then people lost all interest in this thread again.

My friend and I made a tag team to go through the Battle Tower together. Here's our final team:

Meganium (Mine) + Light Clay
Light Screen
Reflect
Synthesis
Petal Dance

Gardevoir (hers)
Psychic
Magical Leaf
Captivate
Calm Mind

Arcanine (Mine) + Leftovers
ExtremeSpeed
Overheat
Iron Tail
Thunder Fang

Feraligatr (hers)
Waterfall
Crunch
Ice Fang
Agility

Watching teams try to damage us with attacks is hilarious.

I absolutely love the competitive battling standard Scizor.

Scizor + Technician + Max attack EVs + Bullet Punch + Choice Band = Destruction

So, what kind of nicknames do you give your Cockfighting Society?
I nicknamed my second Chikorita in HG "Chika", my Entei in HG "DavidBowie", my Moltres in SS "Fenghuang", my Suicune "Suikun" (yeah, I used the japanese name written in romanji, how original), my Dialga in Pt "Einstein", my Palkia in Pt "Newton", my Giratina in Pt "Morgan-Mar", my Giratina in SS "Precious", my Giratina in HG "Lovecraft", My shiny charizard "KCobain", my Blastoise "MJackson", my Venusaur "JLennon", and my normal charizard "Charkoal" (the name also fits Torkoal).

also, weird coincidence: I had a friend who named his character in the original Gold "Ethan", after himself. Fast forward ten years, and that's what they confirmed the character's official name to be.

So, my FC in HG is 1935-3004-5115
