Yeah, I don't think Zubats are going to be on the verge of extinction soon.

Unless you mean that the latest region won't feature Zubats in their Regional Dex. Cause that might work.

I think the water stater should go from a little otter with a shell on it's tummy to a Larger Otter with two conch shells on it's shoulders to a polar bear with a row of conches down it's spine. At the end, it will be either Water/Fighting or Water/Ice. SOMEONE PLEASE DRAW THIS EVOLUTION.

In response to the Zubats, they should also do something about those freakin' Geodude.

I think Smugleaf has the possibility to go Grass/Dragon. It has enough weaknesses to not be considered overpowered. Grass/Dark could also be a possibility, since snakes are so snnneeaky. Or it could just stay pure Grass, which would be boring but I see it happening.

Swinomite (heard it on kotaku, love the name) I can see being a boar. Maybe with intense metallic tusks thus making it fire/steel. Fire/Ground could happen too, but I think that's kind of boring...

Wotter will probs just be Water/Ice. It will be nice to have a possible ice-type right off the bat. I can see that shell design slowly overtaking the majority of its body. Water/Fighting is another idea...maybe it gets a huge shell-shield to bash its foes with?

Hard to predict though, anything can happen with starters. I never guessed Torchic was going to end up fire/fighting.

Swift Swim Kabutops is the only thing that can pull off that otherwise terrible typing though.

I hate Geodude a thousand times more than Zubat.

Seriously, though, if we can't have dragons, I'd like to see the fire/grass/water starters evolve with another triangle typing. Perhaps this triangle could go the opposite way (so that the secondary type of the water starter is strong against the secondary type of the grass starter, etc).

Edit: By the way, I'm going with Tsutarja all the way. I don't care what its evolution is. It's definately my favorite grass starter (not really hard, considering that Chikorita was my favorite before).
