So I'm training an Umbreon and does anyone have any ideas for a good move set. Right now he has:
Faint Attack (this can go) (might be replaced with Dark Pulse)
Psychic (I want to keep this)
Confuse Ray
Moonlight
He going to be acting as a tank for my dark team. BTW, my Umbreon has a Rash nature with a Highly Curious sub nature.

It's my fun team. It's not to be taken seriously.Darkin wrote:Ya know, a fighting type would tear through your team. Or a good snorlax, maybe chansy. But dark pulse sounds good.
A Snorlax or a Chansey would get destroyed by my Weavile.

Dark Pulse is far better for you than Faint Attack. Not only does it have more power, but your Umbreon's nature and IVs favor special attack.Silver_Wolf wrote:So I'm training an Umbreon and does anyone have any ideas for a good move set. Right now he has:

Moonlight is invaluable, so your options to replace Confuse Ray are Taunt, Toxic, Torment, or Sucker Punch. Baton Pass would have been nice (if you're slower than your opponent, you can use it to switch in a counter and let Umbreon take the hit that turn instead), but you can't get that if it's already evolved.
Now I have a question for you. Which pokemon should I use for a sixth team member when I have Weavile, Rhyperior, Spiritomb, Vaporeon, and Breloom?

If you want a great attacker, go with Weavile or Breloom.
Vaporeon is a great water type with good S.Defense, S.Attack, and HP stats.
Spiritomb is terrible in my opinion, but if you want a pokemon with no weakness go for it.
And I've never used a Rhyperior so I can't give an opinion on that.

Oh, you misunderstand.. that is my current party. I just need one last pokemon to bring it all together.
In regards to Spiritomb, I wanted a ghost type to switch into fighting attacks with, but I'm sick of using Gengar. The only other option that might work is Mismagius, which I haven't considered yet.

Oh ok. Mismagius is a much better Ghost type.Ganelon wrote:Oh, you misunderstand.. that is my current party. I just need one last pokemon to bring it all together.

Hmmm. If you don't have an ice type get Weavile. Need a grass or fighting type, use Breloom. Those are the ones I would pick.
