I'm not entirely sure about what to do with Dusknoir's moveset, I want to use its defences, but I also want to use its offensive abilities. Ah, decisions. I still want to keep it Adamant, however.
Shadow Sneak would be good for finishing things off, but I think with its high defenses Dusknoir would benefit from Curse or Toxic. You could just use Curse and then Rest to heal the damage off or something.
Dunno if you saw.

Nanana, you want a wacky Duskoir build? Throw Wil-O-Wisp and Pain Split on there. Itll cover your status crippling, healing, and will drive the opponent mad. Also, Dusknoir doesnt really have a stellar offensive going for it but its a hell of a wall though and Shadow Sneak, like they said, is fantastic for finishing off weak pokes without having to deal with Dusk's poor speed.

Plasma wrote:Err... Marbus, I just noticed: you have two Life Orbs in your team. While it's not normally standard, some competitive rulings (most notably, the Battle Tower and the entirety of Pokemon Battle Revolution) don't allow multiple items on a team. That's not to say you shouldn't usee two items whatsoever, but you should have a back-up item in mind for one of those two Pokemon.

Also, choosing 75-power Brick Break over 135-power Bug Bite for Scizor seems... a little off to me.
But then again, I never really found much use out of Brick Break's secondary ability, and have good times with Bug Buzz's "eat opponent's berry", so it might be just me.
The two Life Orb thing is a problem, you're right, and I guess if need be, I'll replace Scizor's Life Orb with an Occa or a Liechi Berry.

As for Bug Bite, I was thinking more along the lines of typing and what Brick Break would be able to take care of. All Bug Bite will be super effective against will be Psychic and Dark types, however, Brick Break will be super effective against Ice, Steel, Rock, Dark and Normal types, many of those have some very solid tanks, such as Umbreon. If I could teach Scizor Mach Punch instead, I probably would.

@Avengifier and MC, nope. Didn't see that, thanks for the idea, same with you MC... Bah, I guess I'm going to have to think a bit more about that. Pain Split/Will-O-Wisp does seem like a good idea, though. I remember having it on my old Dusknoir and it was amazing.

Edit: Name requests acknowledged~

Finally got around to taking on the Elite Four for a second time, and it was much easier this time. ._. My team was only slightly underleveled (highest 65, lowest 61), but Lance barely put up any fight at all. Once he'd stopped spamming Full Restores his Salamence went down pretty quick; I got a critical with Ice Beam so his Garchomp went down in one; Gyarados was killed instantly by Thunderbolt (naturally); and the rest of his Pokemon went down similarly quick. The only one that really did something was his Dragonite, but my Feraligatr survived its first Draco Meteor and so was able to finish it off with a few Ice Beams. :B

....except that, for a Scizor, a super-effective Brick Break will only do 7.5% more damage than a normal Bug Bite.

I know, it always seems tempting to want to add in a move that's super-effective against certain types, but it just doesn't work out when the move is only half as powerful as a regular attack.

........noooo no I think you have that confused. Personally I would take brick break if you already have a reliable STAB.

Well, I guess I'll just stick with Brick Break for now. On top of its strengths, it can shatter (lololpun) dual screen setups. But, if I don't like it, I can switch to Bug Bite. This is why collecting TMs in your games is a good thing, folks!

In other news, I just hatched my Scyther. It's male, Adamant, has max attack IVs. I like this. Plasma, do you like this?
