There is no item frequency option in Sm4sh 3DS, only Off and On.

I'm assuming Smash Balls will be turned off as well.

I'd actually really like it if Smash balls stayed, they really add a flashiness to the battle, and can change the mood of a battle where both sides try to grab the thing.

Edit: Ninja'd

I'd be fine with smash balls on if there was a frequency option, but there's not, so I think that would make smash balls spawn too often if they were the only item.

I'm probably a bit behind everyone since I got the game a bit late, but I still signed up.

Also, what stages/customization are we allowing?

We're agreeing on all stages and custom moves but no equipment.

It's a bit early, but because of the number of participants I decided to close the registration. We'll start on Monday, to make sure everyone can be ready.

Well, actually, doing derp bot match quickies (1-2 stock) to unlock stuff and having only the Smash Ball on, and some of those matches dragging on a bit due to playing certain characters for challenges and stuff, more often than not a Smash Ball wouldn't even spawn. If it did, it was at the very end typically. I theorize they might spawn more frequently in 4-man matches than in 1v1s.

So custom moves
No items
No equipment
Fox only
Final Destination

That's how it's rolling?

Basic rules are: 3-Stock and 7 minutes, no items, no equipment, custom moves allowed, all stages allowed, all characters except Mii Fighters allowed.
As for selecting specific stages, players could just both pick a stage they want and see if they win the 50/50 chance, discuss which stage they want, anything really. I assume people here can handle that. I also set it up so that people can report the victor of their matches themselves, and again I assume no one will abuse that.
