I'd say it's the new Final Destination but the little bit of floor doesn't look like it. Could be Starfox or even Metroid, but the art on the floor is reminding me more of Kid Icarus in my opinion.

I really wouldn't hold your breath for characters originating from cartoons/literature. I'd at least err on the side of characters who started their lives in video games.

Also I have no idea who some of those other characters on your list are.

It's a list of suggestions that a tumblr has picked up from Miiverse.

I thought it may have been something like that but I wasn't entirely sure what his own views on the subject were.

I don't know why people find the basic (most obvious) requirements for a character's inclusion in SSB so difficult to grasp - I know Sakurai hasn't been so vocal about what a character needs to have done this time around to be considered for inclusion (I believe for Brawl it was they had to have appeared in at least two titles on a Nintendo console), but stuff like a character originating in video games seems like a no-brainer, honestly.

This time Sakurai has said he's focusing on first party and veterans and actively excluding characters from fighting games because they're already in fighting games.

So yeah, most of these are sunk.
