At the absolute peak of my skills, some time around age 14, I could take three level 8's in a team and emerge victorious. Not so much anymore.
Anyone ever try a Super Sudden Death with 100 lives? Shit's cray.

I very rarely lose 1 on 1 a lvl 9, they're not really that good if you focus.

The main issue with Level 9's is when it's one CPU in a match with three players. That's when they get vindictive.

You don't even have to focus if you pick the right character to be the computer and the right course to fight them on.

That's Melee, I think they're talking about Brawl.
Also you can tell from the different icon layouts that that took shitloads of tries. Doing nothing is not a viable strategy.

And Brawl's are much better? I used to make a lot of custom stages with spikes, and that taught me a valuable lesson: CPUs think that spikes are regular ground. They would just walk right into them like they weren't there and start racking up damage. Yes, even on Level 9.
