Re: Super Smash Bros
DLC for more fighters would totally suck, unless you got like a bunch for a low price
As for characters being dropped I think all the SSB64 characters won't be going anywhere, but a few unpopular characters like Olimar and Mr. Game and Watch might be out

I don't see why DLC for more fighters would suck.TerraChimaera wrote:DLC for more fighters would totally suck, unless you got like a bunch for a low price

Re: Super Smash Bros
Well if it was really cheap like Coin Rush level packs for NSMB2 I wouldn't really mind

Re: Super Smash Bros
I think they'll be keeping Sonic and Snake in at least. There was a lot of pressure to get those two into Brawl, and I think the backlash from removing them instead of fixing them might be rather high.
Assuming they need to fix Snake. I dunno if he's broken or anything like that.

Well it's not like you wouldn't be paying for quality characters.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I know he's super tech based but he was never really a character I used so I'm unclear on that.
I do want them to fix Sonic up though.

How cheap was the NSMB2 DLC? I thought their only DLC was Fire Emblem, which was maybe free but I could be wrong. I'm going to assume if they started to charge they'll charge for any potential Smash Bros DLC.

Re: Super Smash Bros
Honestly I think giving him a better B moveset that attacks a lot faster would be already such a giant tremendous fix that it'd kick him up a tier. If he had an A combo like Kirby or Fox where you could attack rapidly would be rather nice too.

Did you seriously not know?
THere's bikini DLC, super hype exp dlc, gold for days dlc.
Even DLC that lets you get characters from the previous games.

Suggesting Olimar or Game & Watch go?TerraChimaera wrote: As for characters being dropped I think all the SSB64 characters won't be going anywhere, but a few unpopular characters like Olimar and Mr. Game and Watch might be out
Please escort yourself from the thread
I think more likely characters from franchises that already have representation might be the first to go, particularly those from games that haven't had sequels recently. As much as I like these characters, I think a Star Fox character like Wolf or an Earthbound character like Lucas might go.
That said, Star Fox was one of the series they showed in the trailer, so we may not only keep both unlockable Star Fox characters, but also be seeing a new Star Fox game announced in the near future.
Or it could be they simply showed us Fox because he's not a hidden character in Brawl or Smash64 like Captain Falcon is.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I wouldn't count on it. Those games have a decent enough following that they would raise hell if they were removed.
