Re: Super Smash Bros
I'm personally more on the Sora side of things when it comes to a character from Square...

Re: Super Smash Bros
No, fuck Sora, he's got a popular series already. Neku needs some airtime after that disastrous PR stunt for tablets.
Stuff goes here later.

Re: Super Smash Bros
"But Nintendo, with Mega Man confirmed so early, people aren't going to have anything to rumour/speculate about."
Pretty sweet news.
Not sure how his weapon system will work - saw about eight or so weapon changes in the trailer - either they're random switch-ups or there's a character customisation thing going on there.
Of course I suppose his weapons could be accessed using Street Fighter style button combinations.
Looks like he's part of a 'Subspace Emissary' thing too - could see the Yellow Devil in the end of the trailer.
I'm really lost for any other big character to speculate about though. If both Mega Man and Sonic are in this game it's gonna be huge.

Re: Super Smash Bros
If you watch the trailer and see how he does some of his moves in the gameplay parts, it looks like it's going to be button combos depending on if he's on the ground or air. Though Flameblast might be his special, which would be cool but I dunno they could make cooler.

Re: Super Smash Bros
Judging by Samus's Final Laser it looks like Final Smashes are still in there.
Also.

Re: Super Smash Bros
It also looks like you can move it a little bit, which makes it mucho bettero
Re: Super Smash Bros
You could angle it before though?

Re: Super Smash Bros
You could angle it a little bit. I just hope the conversion to ZSS is optional this time around - that whole forced conversion thing put me off using Samus massively.
Seems like updates on the new SSB site are more likely to be sporadic rather than daily as per the Brawl dojo.
That might change over time though.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I liked Zero Suit Samus well enough. She had some nasty tricks up her sleeve and I pulverized my brother and his friends more than once with them. Did not like the forced conversions though. I picked Zero Suit and I want to play Zero Suit without having to let others get the Final Smash since one was always Snake (at least one guaranteed kill) and the other was Kirby (have to time the dodge right).

Re: Super Smash Bros
Well hopefully they'll change the Final smash to something apropriate and awesome, like UFO Kirby.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I'm thinking they'll change Pit's final smash, since it was kind of... lame.
Possibly do it like Yoshi, with a transformation into a powered up form? (Said form being Three Sacred Treasures free-flight craziness, or possibly the Great Sacred Treasure or Daybreak.)

Re: Super Smash Bros
I wouldn't mind having Bowser Jr. in the game if only for the fact that his Final Smash would have to be his final boss form from Yoshi's Island
