Oh Brawl...
So much fun.
I've spent hours playing the coin game. With my friends watching.
We all enjoyed it.

Anyone have any tips on how to do the cruel multi-man brawl? I managed to kill 3 somehow with Wario but haven't had much luck beyond that.
Re: Super Smash Bros
I heard that if you kill twenty dudes in cruel battle you unlock Goku
Re: Super Smash Bros
I'd be pop flyin' with 10 so I can get the Challenge trophy.
Re: Super Smash Bros
But slow and has terrible recovery. The reason I managed to kill three in the first place is because I hung around the edges and they occasionally suicide to get at me. But I'll try him regardless, thanks. Falco worked pretty well too, fast aerials and strong and fast smashes, plus his horizontal recovery is too fast for them to hit you out of. But I still only got one, I die when I misjudge the distance for the dash even slightly.

Re: Super Smash Bros
Recovery is pretty much useless for Cruel. As soon as you're airborne, they will go to town on you. Your best bet is to stick to the ground and keep smashing them away until they get a shot in (which usually spells death).
I think I've gotten up to 15 with DK, but it takes a bit of practice.

Re: Super Smash Bros
Ok, I'll try that. I usually survive a couple of weaker shots, but if they get a hard hit in it's pretty much OHKO. Did you mainly use tilts or smashes?
Re: Super Smash Bros
I usually just choose Lucario and spam Down B (the counter). Cruel mooks are so aggressive that you can just keep using on them to eventually kill, and the startup and recovery is pretty quick too so you don't need to worry too much about getting hit before you do another one.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I was kind of trying to do it without abusing something too much, but thanks for the advice regardless.
Re: Super Smash Bros
I use Kirby myself. He's a lightweight, sure, but he's maneuverable enough. Especially when he gets airborne. Plus, everyone done got brick'd.

Re: Super Smash Bros
He'd never appear in a Smash Bros game, unless they make a character creator. He's waaaaaaaay too obscure and he only appeared in one game. As much as I hate to admit it, if they're going to include any new Metroid character, it's probably gonna be Ridley.
