I want stages that are destructible. Not just platforms with hitpoints. I want walls I can throw an opponent through. Don't waste processing power on graphics. I want utter destruction.

Throwing enemies through windows could work. I wouldn't mind a stage that can get destroyed and rebuild itself. It'd be like Luigi's Mansion, only actually fun to play on.

Maybe they could have Bob-Omb Battlefield as a stage. It would be like Delfino Plaza where you would have floating platforms take you to different parts of the stage, but the platforms would be carried by Red Paratroopas and/or Parachute Bob-Ombs, and if you attack one of them enough it would leave and drop a platform.

At the end of the day, they're a business, and they've shown several times that they're very concerned with doing what's most profitable in any situation. They usually avoid taking risks to avoid losing fans. I'm not saying it's ideal or justified, but it's the way I think they're going to look at it.
You completely misjudge the loyalty of Nintendo's fans. The Super Smash games only get released once per console generation. Do you honestly think any fan would not buy the game just because there's DLC? There's also the fact that DLC is in almost every modern game, it's getting more and more accepted by the public. By the time SSB? comes out, only a few idiots will be left complaining about it. And Nintendo has more than shown it's not afraid to take risks, just take a look at the Wii for god's sake.

I'm not saying they'll include DLC for sure, but it's a definite possibility.

As for stages, I want the one with the giant floating pokemon from Melee to come back, "Pokemon Parade" or something, don't really recall the name.

I believe the stage that you're talking about is Poke Floats.

That was my favorite because I'm a platformer first as a gamer. I'll just jump around on Poke Floats or Big Blue and let everyone else die from gravity. Bring that back with more floats and make them destructible.

Whatever Pokefloats your boat.

I liked Celadon City(?) from the first SSB game. Always liked how a random pokemon came out of the building and did something to affect the battle. Also the thought of jumping roof tops.

We need the Mr. Saturn font on here. Saturns are some of the most strangely adorable creatures in gaming, right up there with Pikmin and Cubivores.

A stage made entirely out of ice. Forced time limit. Someone wins before it melts or everyone loses.
