Super Smash Bros.: The one with Ridley in it
Re: Super Smash Bros
I always thought it would be interesting for Eevee to be a playable character.
Moves could be simple headbutts, slapping with it's tail, charging tackle, sand attack, bite, etc.
Final Smash being a very, very quick directional button push which chooses which of Eevee's evolutions it becomes: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon. One for each directional input: up, left, right, up-right, up-left, down-left, down-right.
But for the 8th directional input, down, Eevee could just become a Pikachu's Volt Tackle-lite version of the Take Down attack and shoot forward halfway across the screen.
No input being just a random evolution or the Take Down attack.
I know it's overly complicated for a single character, but it could provide a huge strategical element to the game. Especially if pending on the Evolution it swapped out 2 smash attacks with an Evolution-type based attack.

Charizard was a trophy and became a character.ShadowGuy wrote:Charizard was an assist trophy and became a character.Board wrote:>People naming guys that are already Assist Trophies

Lyn would be a pretty bad booty playable character though...
Most assist trophys would make good characters, like Waluigi or Isaac.
Not an assist trophy.

Say that to Serebii! In the first installment of Super Smash Bros, Charizard was a pokemon-assist trophy thing that stays still and uses fire spin to the left and the right side. Good for being a shield.Wordsmith wrote:Charizard was a trophy and became a character.ShadowGuy wrote:Charizard was an assist trophy and became a character.Board wrote:>People naming guys that are already Assist Trophies

Not an assist trophy.
Also, I'm pretty sure Brawl has character trophies so he could still be a trophy.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I always thought an extra final smash for each character would be kinda cool. like Falcon could have his Blue Falcon hit n' run and maybe something like ike's, he dashes across with a punch, camera zooms in and follows up with some sort of epic falcon uppercut, call it Falcon Annihilation or Buster Falcon.

How would Ridley be a playable character? Wouldn't flying around as a giant dragon-thing be..... I dunno, unfair?Stu_Pidasl wrote: If anyone DOES get added from F-Zero or Metroid, it'd have to be Samurai Goroh and Ridley...those are the most developed characters in the series. Though Black Shadow could work too, I just don't think he'd have as cool of a moveset.
Samurai Goroh might be good, though.
Re: Super Smash Bros
What about a team final smash? Since you can have teams, it could make a final smash based on the team using it like maybe Captain Falcons combined with fox would make foxes tank run over the bad guy for massive damage and still be on the stage.

Re: Super Smash Bros
Maybe scale Ridley down bowser-ish? And team final smashes would be nuts, but there'd have to be one for every possible character combination, and sonic's is cheap enough as it is

Re: Super Smash Bros
Unless the only people who could do team final smashes were ones who had similar smashes.
Like Yoshi and Sonic having super forms, Ness and Lucas being the exact same character, Hell you could even do Kirby and Captin Falcon. Kirby gets all the enemies into a pot and CF runs them over.

Downsize and do what they did with Charizard; Ridley can walk just fine.HostileVaporeon wrote:How would Ridley be a playable character? Wouldn't flying around as a giant dragon-thing be..... I dunno, unfair?
