I've bodaciously not heard of any of the three games that Wikipedia claims he starred in, but point taken.

Still, not sure that he'd be the best pick if they gave the Sonic franchise a second character, though frankly, I probably would rather another series get another slot rather than Sonic anyways, but maybe that's because I don't really like the Sonic series.

Oh well~

Neither did I, I saw an LP of one of them though. My point wasn simply to state that Tails did infact have his own game.
But I still don't think he'd be a good Smash Brothers character.

But no, if they do put in a second Sonic...a LOT of people who do roster speculations on YouTube put in two or three new characters. Mostly ten year olds, I think. THIS IS NOT A SEGA GAME.

A fact you have to face: whenever you have a huge fanbase of a game/series, they're going to want as many characters as possible from that game in Smash Bros.

I remember reading a comment on YouTube about how they wanted EVERY SINGLE FINAL FANTASY HERO AND VILLAIN in Smash Bros. I trolled him.

I still want Paper Mario represented, but people already think that the Mario Series has too many characters as it is... That's kinda why I like the idea of having alts for the characters.

I really can't wait to see what they come up with for SSB4. The character building/leveling idea intrigues me (as long as there's a reasonable ceiling for it), and I'm wondering if the speculated customization (like picking your moveset) may expand to include the actual character models for the characters (like replacing Mario with Dr. Mario, or Paper Mario, same basic character, different models and, possibly, sizes).

Also, anyone else but me salivating at the idea of WW Ganondorf somehow making it into the game? I want a dual katana-wielding badass character.

I would love WW Ganondorf. But even if they keep TP Ganondorf, at least make him not a clone of Captain Falcon and give him The Execution Sword he uses in his taunts.

I'd like that, except the dual katana-wielding character I'd prefer is Travis Touchdown with the Rose Nasty.

PLEASE, SUDA51, BEG FOR PROJECT SORA TO ALLOW TRAVIS IN THE GAME!!!

MY FAVORITE CHARACTER SHOULD BE IN THE GAME BECAUSE MANY STUPID REASONS.

Travis Touchdown isn't my favorite character ever. I haven't even played No More Heroes for that matter. If we were going for favorite characters, then that would go to Shantae. (Who I would like in Smash Bros, though)

In Travis's case, the creator of No More Heroes, aka Suda51 actually said he wants Travis in Smash Bros. Don't know where, but he said it apparently.

That's how Snake got his start, isn't it?

If we were talking about favorite characters, I would still be suggesting Deoxys as a PC, instead of accepting that he'll probably remain a Pokeball mon (or be dropped entirely). Though he would be pretty cool...

Any characters that you guys want dropped? I wouldn't mind seeing Wolf go, personally.

No.

Diddy is awesome. Meteor Smash, excellent recovery, good combos, decent KO moves, and other things I probably don't know about. He needs to stay.

I don't like to talk about cutting characters, I'd rather they revise them to work as non-clones for the next game, since most cuts from Melee were clones.

I only like to talk about newcomers.

Some characters come to just promote the series (like Lucario replacing Mewtwo, since he was the "current" generation Mewtwo-like Pokemon). They were even going to replace Ness with Lucas in Melee, but didn't. So I like to think that some characters are replaceable/cuttable, to give a new character a shot at being in the game, not necessarily because they're clones, but rather because they're "side characters", and they don't promote the series (or aren't as used in the fandom to give a reason for them to keep them besides "legacy") like the more main characters. Marth promotes Fire Emblem well, Roy doesn't. Therefore, Roy is replaced by Ike, the more current face of Fire Emblem.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Ike go, but he does have at least some following.

Also, while I would like the roster to just continue growing exponentially each time, I would rather they cut some characters to allow even more fresh faces in than keep them all because of fan backlash at a small name character being cut even though it was underused.
