Imo, a fair fight would be Final Smashes turned off, and only a select few items like food allowed.

Makes for a better fight.

or maybe all items off except the smash ball. that would be interesting. but anyway is fine with me, i guess. i was just arguing about the manliness of using items.

and is this gonna be a a 2v2 team tournament, 1v1 tournament, or 4 player ffa tournament? i say we do a 2v2 and a 1v1.

Just a quick note on the doubles tournament, how would partners be decided?

I think a singles tournament would work best.

As for items and Final Smashes...it's true that it's a far more balanced fight when they're off, but they add a little chaos. Maybe they could be set to Low or something.

But perhaps a better time to think of such things would be when the game comes out.

It's going to take ages to come to Australia and even longer to save up to buy it and then I have to connect it to the internet and wait for my brother to unlcok Marth and then train and it will take forever.
