Wait wait wait, new idea (still playing upon the "Sonic=dog" concept)...

Link tries to take Sonic to the vet (Dr. Mario). Need I say more?

Zelda or midna bring wolf link to the vet!!!

Don't mind me. Just keeping up with some comedy gold.

Link is in Dr. Mario's surgery, injured/waiting to have something removed.

Dr. Mario comes out of his office, explaining he has to go to an emergency or something. He tells Link that he's waiting for a delivery, so if Link could accept the delivery for Dr. Mario while he's out it would help a lot.

Dr. Mario rushes off.

Delivery guy: Sign here please.
Link: What is it.
Deliver guy: I dunno.
*Link looks at the box that has "Heart Container" written on it.*
Link's little pea brain figures out that:
Injured Link + Heart Container = Not Injured Link.

Dr. Mario comes back to his surgery to find link feasting on the contents of the organ transplant box.

That last bit would be the punchline but if you wanted to you could still get Marth in there - he could come into the surgery with Dr. Mario, maybe Marth was the reason Dr. Mario had to rush off - because he was feeling under the weather or something.

Marth sees Link doing the organ eating, turns white as a sheet, throws up.

MARTH: Link, that blue monster is a menace! He keeps trying to eat my fingers!
LINK: *Pulls out a book about hedgehogs* Says here that whenever a hedgehog encounters a new object, it licks and bites it to get the scent-*Marth slaps the book away*
MARTH: Lies! He wasn't "trying to get the scent"! HE WAS TRYING TO EAT MY BLOODY FINGERS!!!


*Sonic jumps out, bites Marth's pointed finger. Both of them fall to the ground. Various chomping sound effects.*
LINK: Wow, you must smell great!

BAM!

We just did Katie's next three comics for her......now how do we turn that into cheddar?...

Hmm...there really SHOULD be an explanation as to how Link obtained Sonic for a pet...

Explanation = comic = LOLZ
