But you see, his idea had both the amusing idea of other people actually holding up Links skeleton in that same triumphant pose Link adopts when he gets an item, and doesn't include a pun that makes me want to hurt you very very very very very very much.

That pun is the thing that holds the whole/joke comic together - it's the reason the comic would exist in the first place.

Without it, the comic would just be a bunch of stuff that happens, without any real punchline.
