I believe her point is that instead of worrying about how men are treating women in general her first thought was 'aren't I pretty enough?' and that's not something she or anyone else should be thinking.
I reckon she needs feminism to break her out of believing 'cat calling is okay' and that getting cat calls is a mark of being 'adequate'.

Oh god, it makes perfect sense. Think about it, the only women who would respond positively to that sort of attitude will be exactly the type those douchebags are looking for. It doesn't matter if there's not like a mountain of responses, all they need is that one glowing star of low self-esteem and passiveness.

It's mostly teens/young adults who took a sociology class so they think they know everything about everything all of the sudden.
