That doesn't sound "not scary" to me, I don't think I'd like to live where you live.

Its like living in any other area with dangerous wildlife or fauna, if you grow up around it and know how to handle it, it stops being scary.

Yeah, I think they're even treatable if you like, forego heading to the hospital for a day or so. Though, they're supposedly painful and easy to notice, which would make you want to see the doctor more.

Brown Recluses though... those are fucking nightmares. Especially since they like to hide in boxes in closets where it's warm, you may not even really feel their bite or identify it as a bite, and the complete necrosis of your muscles and skin at the site of the wound if left untreated makes for an awful time.

Makes me kinda glad that I live in a place thats too cold and wet for most toxic animals

I'm not 100% sure what standard accent refers to here, though I would assume it refers to whether your accent is the majority's accent where you live. That doesn't apply to Finnish though, we only have dialects, so I went with that instead.

Cis means that you identify as your physical gender, as opposed to being trans where you identify as another gender/identity other than your physical gender.

re spiders: that's why you learn to look where you're shoving your hands. it's not really that hard to avoid a recluse bite if you know what to look for and don't just stick your hands in spaces you can't see willy nilly

my friend had a pet black widow and he said she was one of the most interesting pets he owned because she ate her crickets like a ninja by letting them drop to the ground and drop down on them from above.
