We did sharks and unborn pigs in college. We were supposed to do 3 or 4 other dissections but they were cut because of the student strike.
Applying pressure on the shark's head made its eyes bulge out in a cartoony way.
The first part of both dissections were hard for me to stand, especially the pig (we had to make deep incisions from the commissure of its lips to its collarbone, then break its jaw and tear it out along with all of its chest skin) considering it was a cute PANK baby animal. Both once they were all opened, it was ok.

Only thing I ever dissected was a cow eye. Man, cow eyes STINK

A friend of mine studying in thanatology says most of the smell comes from formaldehyde.

pretty sure you don't have to be a certain age to buy condoms? you might get looked at weird if you're really young or look young but other than that i am pretty sure you don't need to be carded for it. kyle looks like he's 15 or 16 and never gets any odd looks/carded for buying em so /shrug

Dissections were actually really neat. Especially the eye. Out of my entire class I always had the smoothest and most precise cuts. After I was done with the lab I'd cut into it some more just to get a closer look at how it worked.

Years later I used that knowledge to understand how LASIK surgery worked, since it shaved off a bit of the cornea so that it would refocus light in the correct way, thus returning my sight.

Ahh I guess I just assumed there was an age limit or something because he posed the question in a way that made it seem like he was incapable of buying them himself. But yeah if there's no age limit or anything just go buy some dude. Get something basic and try some new things as you get more into it I guess.
