If it's clear mucus you should be OK.

If it's a really thick green/yellow mucus. Go to the doctor.

Why? My mucus was kinda yellow when I had the flu, and it went away on its own.

It's not usually good if it's coming out of your lungs. Pneumonia and all that.

I think it's just shit getting cleared out. I can breathe a bit easier now.

When mucus isn't clear it means you have an infection somewhere. It can take a few weeks for that stuff to really clear because it gets produced while the infection is still there. It's best to see a doctor at the first sign of that gunk. If you're able to that is.

I tried fighting it myself once and it took a month to beat. Eff that noise, When I cough up stuff like that it's time for the amoxicillin.

I refuse to go to the doctor unless Im dying, hospitals and clinics are fucking creepy, and they all have that heavy smell of antitoxidants.

You mean antiseptics? They suck and aren't fun to go to, but that's a phobia that'll get you hurt one day. Make one short trip to a clinic instead of several long stays at the hospital.
