Getting a yeast infection once makes it more likely to contract one again. Just keep on top of things and you should be okay, but sometimes women get them genetically and there isn't much they can do. (Since you don't have a history of them I'm pretty sure you're safe there.)

If you haven't showered between yesterday and today, that would be why you smell so bad now.

Sweat clings to you and when it evaporates it leaves behind the salt and other residue.
