Sorry, but I check this thread only every so often. I haven't had any physical contact with the opposite sex for nearly 7 years. Not by choice, but because I don't look like Brad Pit or some anorexic sack of shit. I get laughed at, FUCKING LAUGHED AT, if I try to approach 90% of the women I attempt to start a conversation with. Usually it's "Hahahah....No, go away." Or they just stare at me like I'm a fucking shaved gorilla that escaped from research facility. I'm 6'8, wavering on 400 pounds, and got a considerable limp cause of a birth defect. So yeah, feel lucky it only might be a year for you. I'll be lucky if I can find a woman who won't look at me like I'm a fucking freak for another decade. Sorry, I needed to vent a little, but jeez. Just be pop flyin' you can talk to the opposite sex without being automatically disqualified for fucking living.

I had a nerd moment today reading about my shiny new birth control pills.

I had no idea how they actually work. the pill has different amounts of hormones in it for each week that you take it, and the 4th week or each month has no hormones in it at all, just placeholder sugar pills so you still remember to take them each day for the rest of the month. I haven't started yet since you start when your period shows up. It's kinda like I'm resetting the clock on my cycle so that the hormones work the way they're supposed to. I dunno, I think it's wicked cool.

Basically the pill is made of science and dark magic.

Edit: oh and I also got to read about the antibiotics I got today. I dunno why but reading the drug information is fascinating to me, something about being a biology student.
