if its oil or gunk or w/e it still would probably help to have a shower. a medicated shampoo would help as well i'm sure. i did a quick google and does cradle cap sound familiar? that page has a good program it seems for reducing it or eliminating it. you don't need to see a hairdresser - they sell salycylic acid shampoos at any supermarket
