One-sided love is never a good thing for a relationship.

Personally, I can't help but feel that love is too ill-defined a term for criteria to be put on whether or not certain situations encompass the idea or not...

True, love doesn't necessarily include sexual/romantic attraction (I mean, I love my parents), but that doesn't mean it can't. Besides, all of this is assuming a singular form of "love". From what I've observed, there are as many versions of "love" as there are other generalized emotions.

Still, the point remains. If you're not on the same wavelength of expectations and feelings about a relationship, it's not going to work.

I know. It was the main point between the "friendzone" discussion that happened in the Taboo Topics thread a couple weeks ago.

Well, the "love" we feel for one another has moved from romantic to platonic. It's harder for her, but she has gotten over it as well.

We're still really good friends and that's all that matters.

well I am getting back together with my ex of almost a year since prom passed.

I am really excited, I forgot how super sweet, cute and intelligent she can be.

What caused her to be an ex in the first place, though? It's not something that can potentially ruin the new relationship, is it?

Is anyone else like innately attracted to a certain type they don't even like?
The last four girls I've seen and thought "Hey, she's actually kinda cute..." have all been pregnant. Like, a month or so in.

No, I, personally, don't like pregnant women because of many reasons, but I keep finding out that most of the people I think are attractive are pregnant, not that I like them BECAUSE they are pregnant.

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? It could just be that you're getting to an age where more of the girls who are within your agerange are also within the agerange themselves to be getting pregnant. Hell, there are a lot of girls my age who aren't just seeing someone, but full on married, and with kids. It's most likely not that you have some subconscious attraction to pregnant women, but more that you're getting to an age where the people within your dating pool are getting pregnant on purpose.

Well, there is a reason that they got pregnant, after all. clearly someone is bound to find them attractive.
