Then there's always telling him somehow over the internet in a chat of some sort. That can be much easier for obvious reasons, but might be a little weird when transitioning to real life.
Are you talking about between the two people in the relationship, or with someone outside of the relationship? If it's the former, well that can just be your attachment style, which isn't abnormal at all. If it's the later, well that can be as easy to deal with as just not bringing up relationship stuff in comversation.
