Frankly, not at all. I really hope he just wants to be friends with me, because otherwise it's just going to produce bad results.

I still don't like it how I can't shut up in my head that I hope that he isn't attracted to me, instead of just becoming friends with people and not worry about anything.

For the petty and vain things that he isn't my type and a bit too old. Moreso the age difference though.

It's not like I'm completely against it, if something happens, it happens I guess. But for now it's waaaaaay too early to say anything to be honest, I think I'm just tripping balls because that never happened to me before, it was always me who had to suggest things to people no matter the circumstances.

Maybe it's just that you're the type of person who doesn't full on date people you just meet. You have to be friends with them first. You're only worried because, traditionally, movies are a "date" activity. I would just go to the movies and see how things go. For all you know, he really does just want to be friends...or he's your soul mate. If there is a point you discover, 100%, that you want to stay friends, then you go ahead and tell him "I'm not looking for a relationship." That way you gave it a shot, and if you were right the first time, you don't unintentionally lead him on.

I don't see movies as a date activity actually; I've been there with someone once who I didn't even knew, simply because I knew he wanted to see the same movie I did, and I didn't want to go alone.
And I think I can't make it any more obvious anyways because I already told him that I'm going to take my roommate along.

And yeah I'm the type of person who needs to be friends with people first and get to know them a little bit. That sounds so easy, but always before I asked people out, many months passed haha.
