Viktor emerged in a suit of clockwork armor that looked slightly dilapidated from age, but otherwise functional. He leaned the steam rifle he was carrying over his shoulder and spoke through the suit, giving his voice a metallic sound similar to Hel's. "Nah, I already found it." he said, flipping up the visor and grinning. Even though he was rather old, within the suit he appeared to have the vigor of one much younger than himself. His grin dropped into a serious face once he saw more guards piling in after Hel. "Right then," he said, flipping down his visor, "out of the way." he drew the rifle and flicked a switch, which flashed as sparks were churned to start the mechanisms, clockwork whirring and clicking as he aimed. Viktor wasn't an Eterni like his son, so he relied on his clockworks and inventive knowledge to get him through scraps such as these. The rifle was powered by steam that was generated within the iron casing on the barrel, which in turn was powered by the clockworks on the stock. The design was such that no gunpowder or blasting powder was needed to send the rifle shells speeding on their way, each one penetrating the guards' thin armor and sinking into their skin.
After taking out the guards that Hel was unable to, Viktor leapt out of the room and cocked the rifle, releasing the shell casing of the last round he fired and shouldered the rifle again. "They're bound to be sending more guards, possibly soldiers. It's best if we get out of here." he said, his voice gravelly with age and still echoing with metallic reverberation. It was about time for a revolution..

Martin reached the armory quickly and went inside. There were piles of confiscated items like clothing, weapons and other different trinkets. Martin started searching the piles for his stuff. He found his bag first. "Okay I have my axe, compass, wallet." He looked inside and found it empty. "Of coarse they would take my cheddar. Alright I have my water bottle, matches, dagger, etc....Where's that book? WHERE IS IT!?" Martin scoured through the bag even dumping out the contents a sorting through his stuff. "They took it. Why did they take it!?" Martin got bad feeling from the disappearence of the book. He started going through the piles frantically searching for it. The search was in vein. "Dammit." Martin decided to ask the old man outside. After ditching the iron bar he grabbed a new sword and went out.
"Hey Viktor, did see a book in any piles? It was in good condition and had a weird language inside."

Ok, enough waiting.

Viktor looked back at the lad. "No, couldn't find any books in there." he said, shifting his weight a bit. "If they found any books worth anything they'd 'ave taken them to the library." He shrugged a bit and turned back to the metal woman. "Lead the way." he gestured, readying his rifle once more.

Zephiur spun around, his mechanical arm swinging by the strap that held it to him. "Allen? How in blazes did you get here?" He looked back at the two he had met, who were apparently not interested in his company, and started walking off, motioning for Allen to follow him. "I don't know but something about this place seems off; let's get the hell out of here." he said, pocketing the Heli-Courier that he had received earlier as his mechanical arm was still strapped to his back, leaving his left side slightly raw looking as it was before. He looked over his shoulder and drew one of his pistols, cocking it with his teeth before quickening his stride. The Dead Lands gave him a bad feeling..

I was told to search these lands for anything. I guess they didn't know, but there's nothing...
So where've you been all this time? wait, can you hear that?
Sounds like some kind of trumpeting...
Someone's sounded the horn, Mekanos is under a prisonbreak!!

Martin was relieved that the book probably wasn't burned. "Look, I have get a book back. So can we stop there and look for it?" Martin thought about for sec. "You know what, I think I'll go on ahead." He ran into the building and started going through the halls. He avoided the guards pretty easily, considering they were in a frenzy about the guys in armor in the courtyard. After a bit Martin reached the library pretty easily. As he entered a thought crossed his mind. "Why does this seem familiar?" He merely brushed the thought aside and started going through the shelves of books.
After a few minutes of searching he heard the door open.
"Alright, are you sure you saw a prisoner enter this room?"
"Y-Yes sir but it was a few minutes ago."
"Urg...we'll search anyway, it's certainly better than try to subdue those armored prisoners. Alright, Gerald search over there. I'll search here. Derringer...stay by the door and call if you see him."

Hel held a now limp soldier in her arm, surprised by Viktor's rifle. "Thanks" Hel drops him with a thud. "Now I suppose we should finalize our escape?" She leans down, readying herself for a sprint into the outer wall. She launches herself and breaks right on through. With her momentum however, she runs straight into a tree. She collapses at the base of the tree, dazed.
