My younger sister might be pregnant. Can't really say I'm exactly sad....more like disappointed. She gets more and more like our older sister every day.

My ex is either asleep or ignoring me but I feel like we're meant to be together
Every couple splits up a lot but they get back to together in the end

I mean my parents split up for like 2 years once and now they're okay.
And people do it all the time on TV and I don't think they'd show it if it didn't actually happen

The best thing to do in that situation is to move back in with your wife and mooch off of her while doing chores for her and her sons while they're at school and she's working all day, and serve her supper when she comes home to yell at any perceived flaws and grievances she's had time to ruminate on. Even if you've moved out to date another woman and leave your two kids and baby with your wife, if that lady feels guilty and leaves you, you can still move back in with the excuse of "Keeping the family together for the kids."

Tuxedo Mask is still ignoring me and I think I have to wriggle my way out of going on some date for now because I feel too depressed for it

Nachalnik, I promise I'm not trying to be a bitch here, but I don't know any other way to say it. That is quite possibly the most poorly thought-out thing you have ever said. The reason that plot point is popular on television dramas is because it is wish fulfillment for the viewer/writer's own views about idealized romance. Not because it is successfully carried out with any real frequency. Stop devoting so much energy to a guy who is not interested in that type of relationship, and stop clinging so desperately to any semblance of that relationship yourself. Believe it or not, the sun does still rise when there isn't anyone smooching you.

Please stop.
It's over.
Even I, never having been in a relationship, realize that clinging to this notion that it will all be happily ever after in the end will only make the impending crushing reality feel worse.

Nacha, this is seriously a very unhealthy mindset for you to be in. When me and my ex broke up several months ago, I clung to the idea of us getting back together for a while. I even begged her. And you know what? It never happened. But I'm fine now, and I've moved on and have learned from the experience. And now I know how stupid I was being. I would have saved myself a lot of trouble if I had just tried moving on from the start instead of being clingy.
Things get better, he's just one guy. There will be many more people in your life. You're looking at this as if getting back with him is the only solution to your problem, and it's not. In fact, it's probably the worst solution to your problem. Follow Riku's advice and make something cute or something. Spend some time with your friends and family. Stop worrying about some dude. Worry about yourself.

It's so very cold and wet outside. I just want to huddle and hiberbate until spring, but I know I'll have to go out in the morning anyway

A close friend has been having chronic bouts of depression for over a year and comes to me each time to try and talk about things, but there's been absolutely nothing I could do to help cheer him up.
Being unable to help is painful.

There's a fishpond in our apartment complex. I kind of feel bad for them, because it never gets quite cold enough for the pond to freeze over, so I'm pretty sure they can't hibernate. I constantly see them just huddling together
