It feels weird seeing your whole life fit into a few boxes...

Saying goodbye to so many different things tonight, my heart feels really heavy.

It sometimes seems like my life is most effected by things outside of my control. I can do everything to change my own behavior and outlook for the better, but I can't predict or prevent life's random speed bumps.

I'm feeling left alone in the last time for some reason.

This weather is making it awfully hard for me to leave the house and do productive things.

I feel absolutely terrible about myself again today.

And I'm getting sick of complaining to you guys and other people about my problems. It's just the same shit as always and I know you all are probably tired of listening to it.

I feel like I'm falling behind everyone. I guess not behind because I'm still mostly ahead. But the gap is closing, and I worry that the smartest people here are smarter than me. I guess I am too worried about being the best in anything I'm good at, but I feel like I'm falling behind, despite most evidence pointing to the contrary.

TBH Marc I feel like you're in a similar place in life as I am (trying to navigate The Real Adult World) and I don't mind hearing about your troubles since I can often relate to them; it's a tiny bit encouraging to know I'm not alone. So I'm always open to talk to, if you really want.

Sometimes airing out complaints is nice. That's why there's like 3 different threads for it.

Well, I can't go to Sheridan. Mom and Dad stomped that idea out right when I asked for my passport. Even though I feel really terrible about myself, and sad about the whole situation, I'm starting to wonder whether they're right and I'm not ready for anything. But then again, I also know they are being very controlling. Mom is almost trying to monitor my bank account, because I spent like $80 on the application for Sheridan. I am not going to let her do this at all, because (as I've told her) I am a legal adult now, and I earned all of that cheddar myself at work. But the way things work in this house is, that for as long as I live here and depend on them, I'm still a child. They see me as a 15 year old still, their words. Mostly cause I can't drive, and because they really don't approve of Tuxedo Mask. Which is pretty stupid, considering we've been together for 3 years, and he's kept me away from really horrible people in my life.

It'll be a miracle if I even get into A&M, honestly. It's such a competitive program to get in for their visualization course (30 accepted per year), but I'm gonna try super hard because I want to become an animator, and at least dorm on my own.

Maybe he just doesn't want to get married yet? You're both young, and making any decision which would affect the rest of your life is kind of scary. Just wait a bit longer, and keep saving the cheddar. You'll buy a ring eventually, maybe not for your current boyfriend, or maybe you will, but either way it'll happen.
