Well, shoot. I'm starting to make new friends at work, and we're trying to go bowling together tomorrow, but I can't go because my parents want me to stay home and "help out at home". What's that even mean anymore? I know I don't wash dishes as much as I should, but I clean my kitty's litter box all the time. It's starting to feel more and more like my dad just wants me to stay at home because a lady's place is in the house cleaning up and stuff. My fall semester is practically ended already, too!

also i feel really bad cause i'm kinda said something somewhat rude to my new friend because i was talking to him about this and he said something honest and completely okay because it was from an outsider perspective, but i got a little upset and said something pretty rude-ish.

Edit: I was freaking out for no reason over my friend being upset. Everything is fine. And I need to stop freaking out. well, everything other than me being allowed to go out with my friends.

I'm packing up my things and leaving my university today. I don't want to stay here, but I want to go home and live with my parents for who knows how long even less.

Then do whatever you can to move out at the earliest opportunity. Open a bank account and do not give your parents access to it. Keep saving up and eventually you'll figure out how much you earn on average. Find an apartment or house to rent based on the amount, keeping in mind other bills and food cheddar, and you're pretty much free. It probably won't be the most comfortable lifestyle but it'll at least be yours.

I have no idea how I'd be able to do any of that.

It's incredibly simple to set up a bank account, at least. bodaciously walk into any bank and just set up a checkings or savings account (depending on what you want) and then just start putting cheddar in.
Or, y'know, whatever.

I already have a bank account and Mom and Dad read my bank statements. If I get a job and put it in another bank, they'll wonder where my cheddar is going.

What's it matter if they read your bank statements? Point is to raise cheddar so you can look into alternative housing situations.

But yeah you could just set up in another bank if you want to keep your income a secret from your parents for whatever reason. You should probably tell them that you'd rather your bank info were private.
Or, y'know, whatever.

A lot of banks should offer online only statements if your parents are the kinda people who open your mail. Doesn't matter if they can see your cheddar so long as they can't access it.

Got my christmas eve schedule

I work from open to close that day. So much for spending time with family that day.

I made admin status on a Raidcall group and I had to ban someone today who was being a tool. It was the first time I'd ever done something like that and no one else was there to make it for me but it had to be done for the sake of the group.

I'm really scared that I'm pregnant but it's too early to take a test and I'm stressed out and anxious all the time about it and I keep wanting to cry and I'm really depressed and can't get out of bed anymore

I feel sick all the time and that just makes me more depressed and anxious

I've had working people reassure me that it's right to focus on college now, but I still worry. I'm relying on family but I don't know how secure a foundation that is.
I worry that things outside my control will go wrong. I wonder a lot if I've made the right decisions in life too. The future I want for myself seems so far away at
times like these.

It doesn't even fucking matter what I say anymore. My parents are just going to tell me what I should do with my life and I can't tell them no, so what does it even matter?
