I'm doing alright I suppose, its sad, but we werent really as close as we were when I was a kid. Its just so weird knowing that someone who was a fixture for so long is gone now. We havent had a major death in the family for 16 years either. But I suppose this is what we have to look forward to, and eventually, there'll just be me left.

If only I/we were so lucky. My stepmom's mom died last year before Thanksgiving (and we had always had Thanksgiving with her family). Earlier this year (I think around my birthday) my paternal grandma died, though she had been 'out of it' for years. Also pretty sure my aunt and cousin who looked after grandma for years while she's been 'out of it' used up all the cheddar she was leaving for the rest of us (mostly me, I think, being the final heir to our family name) after they had her change the will or something. Recently my maternal grandpa's older brother who was a priest died and his funeral was at St. Louis Catherdral, I think. He had held the funeral in my grandpa's house when their sister died a couple years ago; I forget if that was before or after my stepdad's dad's death... one of those was my first funeral. I forget.

And now I'm going to another great aunt's funeral tomorrow on my mom's birthday, there will be yet another in the near future, probably another couple more in the years to come, and I can't even begin to think about my grandpa's time....... Ech.

Times like this ya just wanna wish there's a global zombiepocalypse so you wouldn't have to go to another funeral again, ya know? *sitcom audience laugh track* Egh...

More bad news for Marcato HOORAY

Apparently I'm doing poorly in Geometry and had no idea because my professor's grading system is awful and provides absolutely zero feedback.

I fucking hate college.

I'm not pop flyin' here in college. I just want someone to tell me everything's OK and I can be done now.

I don't like my life. I'm a freaking lazy, with a don't-give-a-daisies attitude. I can't push myself to care about my studies, I forgot again to register for some of my classes, I'm having bad grades because I'm never listening, I can't find anybody because I can't take care of myself, I can't find a job because I'm not motivated and I'll end up gaining weight if I don't find the will to do sports. I'm doing nothing with my life except writing, talking and watchig tv, just because ... I have no will. And I care about nothing.

Not having a good day.

I'm constantly worried about my family once I move out. I'm torn between feeling obligated to help them out if I'm ever in any good financial standing and just wanting to save my cheddar and stuff and let them fend for themselves. It makes me feel like an asshole that I don't want to help, but I want to be able to have my own cheddar and stuff for when I start a family so that my kids will never know what it's like to be poor. I think I think too deeply and far into things too much.

Also, something that's been making me sad lately is I know I'm never going to enjoy going to my dad's anymore. I usually visit him once or twice a year, and during my childhood it was something I looked forward to. But now that I'm older, I've realized that he's an alcoholic, homophobic racist that cheated on his wife and I can't see him in good light anymore. I used to enjoy going camping and fishing with him, but now I don't really like being around him because he always makes comments about how "niggers and wetbacks are lazy" when he himself doesn't even have a real job, he just paints some peoples' houses and mows their lawns. It's just not the same anymore when I go up there. I miss childish ignorance.

Sometimes I feel like people I've known for a long time should automatically know, or at least tryto help me when I'm sad. It's exhausting feeling like I give my all to them, but then when I need help there is nothing for me. then I feel bad because I think I shouldn't expect them to know how to help me.

I like how I completely suck at school despite the fact that its the single most important thing I need to take care of in my life right now. It's not even like oh I'm working so hard studying day and night, no, it's just that I struggle with basic things like getting up on time and planning for deadlines and shit. God it's so depressing and the worst part is that I have no one to blame but myself.

Thanks Crisp. Yeah I'm pretty mad that the art/design class I signed up for for my Gen Ed requirements isn't just a blow-off class, lol. I need to write a paper, what???

This is my third "first year" in this degree in a row. And you know what ? I'm failing it. Again.
I'm very, very depressed.
