Try calling them
Seriously I know that sounds like an awkward phone conversation but the same kinda stuff used to happen to me when I was younger because I just kinda wasn't making enough of an effort to contact people. Try calling their cells or house numbers. Make that extra effort. If they still don't answer you or anything, THEN maybe you can assume there's some kinda problem

Got back from visiting my mom in my hometown the other day
The dog that I pretty much grew up with really isn't doing very well. He's deaf, blind, senile, and apparently has heart and liver issues. He used to be this really energetic goof, but now he pretty much just slowly walks everywhere accidentally bumping into things. One of his biggest personality traits was that he had all these different kinds of barks; it almost seemed like he was talking to you. Now he just whines if he needs to go out. It's kind of unbelievable just how big a change there was in between now and the last time I saw him.
Got me pretty bummed.

I failed my college year. For the second time. I don't know what to do next, where to go. I have no idea if I'm going stop, study something else that I doesn't like or just work for one year, taking time to think about it. I'm just ... completely lost, at this point.
she's been in this house almost as long as we have

I think my oldest cat might be on her last leg. She's been acting reclusive for a while, her legs are clearly bothering her, and all day she's been desperate to find a warm, covered place to sleep.

It must be nice to have a steady job you love doing and are motivated to do, be financially stable and independent, and not in this lovely quarter-life limbo I'm in now.

I hate how extremely paranoid I am about asking my parents if I can buy something I want with my own cheddar.

I remember when my online relationship with Sailor Moon ended. She had found a guy who also lived in Rhode Island, and I was really impressed that she managed to find somebody else living in Rhode Island. A few weeks after that, she started texting me, "Hey, I think my breasts are getting bigger!" and "Tuxedo Mask says I have a cute butt." I asked her if I could see her butt to provide a second opinion, but she said she was too tired. Oh well...

If he doesn't agree with your views on feminism to the point where he actually actively hates it, why are you still going out with him even? It's one thing to disagree on things. Me and the Mrs. disagree on things all the time, but we accept and respect each other's opinions enough to not get legit mad or hateful towards them.

I've been feeling sad lately, for seemingly no reason.
