Man, I definitely failed my calc test today. This probably brings me down to below a C for the course, so I have to work extra hard on the final. It shouldn't be too bad, but I'm kicking myself for skipping lectures covering things I thought I remembered from last year.

Started it off with 'If I got a haircut and got a binder for the play, how would you guys be if I stayed like that afterward?'
They just shrugged it off and continued on a different topic so I figured that was them accepting the idea
Hahah, not really
I elaborated after a bit more talking, and my little brother says it would be too weird for him if I 'pretended to be a boy' and seemed surprisingly adamant about the idea...

And if my little brother is uncomfortable with the idea, lord knows how my folks'll be...
There's just too much stress about cheddar lately for this sort of thing, ehhhh
Really regret saying anything about it now...
How much younger are we talking? If they're younger than puberty then that reaction is obvious because they don't really have a concept for all that stuff yet.

Plus, at that very young age, the opposite gender is "yucky and full of cooties" most of the time anyways

Went to buy new, warm shoes for me because my feet often get cold despite heater and sitting cross-legged etc. , but they didn't have the type of houseshoes I wanted. Unfortunately that's a shoe chain-store, and the nearest shoe stores around me all from there, boo

Ah, my brother is 14, and my little sister who's 11 was the one who didn't really care either way
It's alright now, I just wanted to test the waters to see how they felt about it if I ended up being more serious, and he admits it would weird him out a bit at first...but he would get over it
Mostly I was worried that they would stress out about it and I was kicking myself for ever bringing it up at all, but, they've both been acting normal around me so the regret has receded for the most part~
Still, it was a surprising reaction, considering he's more or less the most open-minded person in our family

to kids who have grown up in a mostly binary system, the idea of someone falling outside of it is very foreign, so i wouldn't read too much into it, the idea has probably never come into his head before

Yeah, and by 14 unfortunately that sort of thinking has usually stuck and will probably take longer to get out of his head than it might for a younger kid. Doesn't mean there isn't hope, but it'd definitely be something he'd have to get used to.

Last night was both good and bad. The good is I got to talk to my friend Lauren on Skype after FOREVER, but the bad with that is I learned that her mom died of cancer. In April. And I did not know this entire time. I started to cry and then she started to cry and I felt so bad and she felt bad for making me feel bad and it went in circles and it made me realize just how bad of a friend I'd been during this past year. Keeping tabs on Facebook and Tumblr are going to be that much more important now. I don't want to let something like that happen again.

Oh god, splitting headache that isn't going away even after two ibuprofen. Add my incredibly sore arm (it hurts too much to even straighten) and you get a cocktail of "fuck that hurts".

My roommate is having flashbacks of last year. January 7th is gonna be really hard. I'm glad her girlfriend is back because even though they occasionally fight, she can still be there for her. I'm not emotionally strong enough to be her sole emotional support this year. I love her, and really wish I could, but with everything else going on in my book I just won't be able to handle it alone. I feel horrible thinking that, but it's true.

Talked to someone cool, next day they deleted their account on the website.

Weird.

I'm starting ECT tomorow and it kills me to think about everything that's gotten me this far.

I don't know if I'm sad or pop flyin' or hopeful or excited or just curious or whatever

But I know there's a lot of anxitey.

Being bored in a locked unit sucks.
haha no

I just found out that my best friend's dad died. People only found out a few hours ago, he drowned somehow while fishing.

I haven't experienced a death of anyone close to me before. I really don't know how to react.

I don't think anyone does. When my grandpa died I was kind of numb for the first few days. I only really started being upset after it had sunk in.

I'm really more upset for what the family must be going through. I consider them my family as well, and I really hope they're doing okay.
