NO STOP THAT SHE IS NOT A MAID THAT'S GROSS
La di da, I'm just a mild mannered Internet-goer, minding my own business. Boy, I sure do think Isabelle for ACNL is adorable, and not even in a creepy fetish kind of way! I do believe I shall look up some fan art on Tumblr!
....Oh.
Oh gosh.

It's really not a great idea to make light of people's depression or rotten situation and explaining how good it makes you in comparison. It's fine if it makes you appreciate your own life better, but if you're feeding your own self esteem with other people's misery, then that's a bit messed up, and frankly the people in those situations probably don't want to hear about it.Kitsune Dzelda wrote:Crisp makes me feel grateful that I have welfare at least while I work on getting myself out...
I come here whenever I want to feel better about myself. Because I know, that somewhere, somehow, no matter how hard I think I have it, that there is always someone who is worse off than I am. And not for a reason to sneer its not. But it stands to me as a good incentive to help myself out of the rut in my life that I feel Ive run into.
So, for all your depression, thank you for at least making someone elses day a little bit brighter ^w^
Or, y'know, whatever.

Then we can release it back into the wild.

I've been feeling extra depressed this past week. I missed three out of five days of school, including today, and even though I went yesterday, it wasn't a school day so much as a "let's celebrate Thanksgiving a week early" day. Plus I'm extremely behind with my homework.

This is some legit fear
I don't even know what to do about my classes. I'm not sure I'm going to pass them and my parents are going to scream at me for the rest of my life. I'm seriously scared of ending up homeless because I couldn't pass these classes.

Grow your own food, make your own clothes, live without ipod.
Or just check where the shit you buy comes from.

What kind of food do you buy? Just about every food item I can think of is produced in my own country if not even the same state. Only exception would be exotic fruits that get imported from somewhere else in Europe.

I try to stick with locally produced meat and dairy and stuff, but not all products have that option.D-vid wrote:What kind of food do you buy? Why do I sign up for things, again?
Welp, guess I get to miss having a Christmas party with my friends in my church's college group, since I'll more than likely be playing with my college's marching band at the PAC-12 Championship. I missed having a Thanksgiving dinner type thing with them last week because of bull crap like this, too.

Oh darn, your school is too much bigger than mine. I was hoping our teams might play each other.Marcato wrote:Welp, guess I get to miss having a Christmas party with my friends in my church's college group, since I'll more than likely be playing with my college's marching band at the PAC-12 Championship. Re: Things that make you sad.
Just talked to my younger siblings about how they would be if I were to be a boy instead of female
Started it off with 'If I got a haircut and got a binder for the play, how would you guys be if I stayed like that afterward?'
They just shrugged it off and continued on a different topic so I figured that was them accepting the idea
Hahah, not really
I elaborated after a bit more talking, and my little brother says it would be too weird for him if I 'pretended to be a boy' and seemed surprisingly adamant about the idea...
And if my little brother is uncomfortable with the idea, lord knows how my folks'll be...
There's just too much stress about cheddar lately for this sort of thing, ehhhh
Really regret saying anything about it now...
