This is getting to be a weak excuse. By this point, everyone should have a good idea of how this game works. Hiding your antics under the guise of incompetence will only get you so far, and by now is only another sign of your guilt.

I already explained my entire thought process in previous posts. I didn't want to be MK'd without at least putting the gun element into play. Ycobb seemed to be trustworthy, and (this is where my guilt comes in) he was at the time the only person who didn't trust me.

Yeah bro. YCobb posted like three times total in this thread. Nothing he's said has made him suspicious though nothing has made him clearly villager either. Guns are actually a rather powerful tool to use for either side, mafia and villager alike. Hell if the Amnesiac is given the gun they can just decide to kill anyone and assume their role just so they'll be capable of winning. They'd be better to pass out after the thief is dead. We'd just have to hope that the Amnesiac doesn't replace them.

If you are Gunsmith bro, I'm sorry, but giving out guns as a peace offering isn't very smart. All I can do is hope that the Amnesiac replaces you.

...from reading E-goat's posts, I'm starting to have second thoughts. Everything he says COULD be true, but his story is starting to get more fractured. It sounds a lot like something someone would make up as a cover story, you know? Call me paranoid but the story just doesn't ring true with me, and I think we'd be better off doing something at this point than being sitting ducks.
