Howdy, guys! Thanks for clicking! My best friend nearly killed himself last night. His health is failing and I'm terrified for him. He can't afford healthcare or even a diagnosis. He doesn't think he deserves any cheddar or anything, but I know different. He deserves to live. We all do. If you could take a few minutes of your time to read my tumblr post, I would REALLY appreciate it. It contains donation info and more details about the situation. We're accepting donations and we're both offering commissions for those wary of just donating (His art is GORGEOUS).

Those wary of donating are wary because this sounds an awful lot like a sob story just to get some cash out of people on the internet. Dont think I havent seen the panhandlers before with a similar story. Whether your story is legit or not, there is no way at all we can tell whether or not your site is bugged, and whether or not your story si true, just from what you yourself tell us.

if you are so wary, ask for a commission then.

Jesus Christ, Dzelda, really? Who cares if you think it's a "sob story" or not? Caiman is even saying "If you're wary of donating, we offer commissions for your cheddar". Can you be even more negative than that? If you're wary then get outta this thread, plain and simple.

Yeah, we can at least trust in Caiman as a long term member of this site.

That's a...really depressing first post on the thread, yeah. Ouch.

It links to my tumblr, first of all--I know scammers DO sometimes try to use tumblr, but it doesn't work, trust me. Tumblr always shuts them down, and why would I use my personal account with 25,000+ posts to try something like that? And even with all that in mind, I honestly have no idea how to 'bug' a tumblr post.

Second, yeah. That's precisely why we're offering commissions--his are expensive and absolutely gorgeous, and mine are cute, cheap, and simple--fit more for speed commissioning. If you don't want to donate, we're offering something you might want instead of helping someone without insurance in America afford health care.

I don't blame you for being wary, but geeeeez :c I can also--if it really bothers anyone SO MUCH--provide the chat logs from the moment I realised he'd downed fourteen anti-psychotics. I was in the middle of typing the post when that happened. I have 16 pages of it.

I'm not saying I'm offering that up willy-nilly because yeah, it kinda has personal info in it, but I DO have it, yes.

i admit i am often wary of donate pleas, but i'd say offering commissions makes it more legit, at the very least.
