The forum is utterly incapable of staying on-topic in any thread.
I can tell the difference between a general Scottish, Irish, Welsh, and English accent, but when you start getting really specific I just get totally lost.Sandwich Monster wrote:On a related note I can't tell the difference between British accents. I am full 100% Dutch. Some of that Dutch has a little Scandinavian hidden in there.

lol this thread isn't to say one country is better than another so i don't think that's pretentious at all really

Well, I'm supposedly related to Anna Sewell, writer of Black Beauty, but upon looking that up just now she never married or had kids, so maybe it's my family just being stupid since we have the same name.
