lol this thread isn't to say one country is better than another so i don't think that's pretentious at all really
this thread is more for questions of life in britain rather than "my distant grandfather was part brit"

Well, I'm supposedly related to Anna Sewell, writer of Black Beauty, but upon looking that up just now she never married or had kids, so maybe it's my family just being stupid since we have the same name.
All my interesting family history goes back to the Richter, Rasmussen, and Mizerek names. Danish, Austrian, and Prussian royalty COURSES THROUGH MY VEINS.
