The problems like the one I posted are bad enough, but I hate dealing with logarithms even more. They're kind of new to me and nothing's clicking yet. Super annoying.

Thats what I hated most about calculus-level math and up. Too many new concepts, not enough time to absorb them. God forbid you cram for a test, and forget it when you're trying to learn the next part.

The logarithm to the base n of y is a number x, so that n^x = y. It's not that hard to get. It's hard to put it in relation to other things though.

Calculus is a lot like chemistry in that there's a shitton to remember for everything. The main difference is that math is a little less frigid than chemistry. You can go about a math problem in a million different ways and they'd all reach the same answer whereas in chemistry you have one method for each specific case. If you deviate from that one method, then your answer is completely wrong. Once you learn all of the methods in calculus, you can effectively use your favorite one for every problem and get it all right.
For example, I got an A on my Calculus final using just "u" substitution. It was magnificent.

Sorry about the double post, but I need to bump the thread.
Anyway, anyone know of any Pashtun ethnographies? It's getting ridiculous looking for one.

Time to start looking for things like scholarships. Everything is complicated and I just want it to be over with.
And my mom told me that she wouldn't let me take out student loans...
WHELP

I hated applying for scholarships, but make sure you do as much as you can now. I really got lazy on scholarships my senior year and now I'm paying for it, bodaciously.
Also my dad doesn't really like student loans either, except he takes out loans himself to pay tuition sooo
I do plan on paying for those later, so its basically the same thing.
