Thanks, I never really thought of that. I'm sure it'd win me some points with the teacher though. Also, due to a realization that I'll explain in more detail in the Confessions thread at some point in time, I've figured out a way I can write this essay without being stupid about it (overthinking, criticizing, nit-picking) so I'm sure the quote will help immensely. For now I'm off to do that essay and fucking ace it.

I really hate how all my classes have vastly different difficulties.
There's one where I could just never go to and would probably still pass the exam easily, and there's others where I need to prepare a whole week for and still be nervous if I manage it.

So after my essay victory, I realized I still need to do Major Works Journals (basically a page or two full of mini-summary and mini-analysis of a book we read) and my book report on Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. Thankfully this one's just a study guide full of questions instead of a study guide, character chart, and analytical essay like nearly all of our other book reports.

So I'm gonna be doing my book report for the rest of the day, and tomorrow I'm going to a friend's house to work on our final exam grade, the Major Works Journals.

I've finished 2 and a half of my 5 Major Works Journals due this Tuesday. I'm feeling p good about them too. However I'm not out of the fire just yet; I need to do a small essay for Economics and then figure out what's up with my English III grade (the make up credit that will null my progress towards graduation if I don't pass it).

Also I feel like I'm the only person using this thread now. I'm sure you guys have stuff to report on too.

Cool. And regarding starting essays, Need_Runes4 gave me a daisies good tip earlier in this thread: start with a quote related to the subject. It makes writing the body of your essay a hell of a lot simpler and I can't thank him enough for sharing that with me.
