alright, i'm PMing everyone their roles now. This game will have

1 x godfather
4 x mafia
1 x fool

i didn't expect this to actually get sort of popular, so next game I'll have more roles.

So how does night and day work? Are we bodaciously going by the calendar (what about timezones?) or will you set times for it or something?

"night" will end when all night actions are over, and "day" will end after a vote has been conducted. no correlation to actual day and night.

Coincidentally, all roles have been sent, so it is now

The cop can know who the mafia members are, but the rest of us don't know who he is, so a mafia member can also suggest a villagers name. If the mafia figures out who the cop is, they'll try and kill him off too though.
