This didn't help much
ON TOPIC: For you, Wiffle, are letters colors, or are the words themselves adjust the hues?
Thanks for sharing your gift.
Letters are colors.
Omnithea wrote:Exeres has a point. Hey, Wiffle, what do the words Skyscraping, Whirlybird, and Once Bitten look like?
Do commonly used symbols trigger your superpower? $$$$$
Skyscraping Whirlybird Oncebitten
No, symbols like that don't have colors to me.

I'd like to apologize to Wiffle for going off topic and accidentally giving him a part time job.

Can Wiffle get paid for doing this thread?
What about Triceratops and Tyrannosaurs? (If you don't want to do these, I don't mind)

Do Galt's speech from Atlas Shrugged.
Or War and Peace.
Or the word "I".

When I originally posted Wiffle Filter in the other thread in multiple colors, did you have any trouble making sense of it? Does re-coloring the letters to match you superpower cause anything? Does this orange bother you?

It might not work well since there's a lot of noise in there but maybe it will?

I don't have trouble reading things in the wrong colors but it does bother me. Nothing really happens when it's colored correct other than me liking it better. A blue Orange does bother me a little.

Wiffle, I commend you for having such patience. I would've said "Screw this" after the second page of "DO MY NAME, MY FAV SONG PLZ"

synasthesia (possible incorrect spelling) is amazing, I researched it quite a bit for an English homework I did in Year 8. I found out that people can have varying "levels" of synasthesia, e.g. some people can't have the volume level on the television on a certain number, it might need to be even. Or if you imagine two characters "Bob" and "John", what do you imagine them as? Fat or thin, tall, black, white, asian, etc? It's all very interesting.
What's it like watching a film then?

Doesn't everybody have some low background level of synethesia? Like if you asked me what colors I associate stuff with, I could come up with an answer it's just not as prominent as Wiffle's might be. It may be more of a psychosocial thing than a neurological thing for the rest of us, though.
I know I associate my subjects in school with colors, English is yellow, Science is green, Math is blue. I can't really think of letters though. Maybe it doesn't count.
