Oftain when I am concentrating really hard I start to play with my hair, to a point that I start checking for split ends and just in general playing with my hair happens a lot.

I have this thing where I bend my ears behind themselves. I don't know why I do it, but for some reason it just feels good.

I feel the need to bite things when I'm nervous. Usually my nails and the cuticles around my nails, but sometimes things like tiny plastic items (think straws or anything you can flatten through chewing). It's awful on my teeth I:

I sort of half run around the house or do weird dances when I'm on the phone

I'm glad I mostly make calls when other people aren't in the house

RISE FROM YOUR SLUMBER, THREAD

If I leave my phone on the table in front of me, I can't leave the screen on. It makes me nervous for some reason, like I'm constantly waiting for a reply. If I turn the screen off I can turn my attention to something else.

Also, just noticed creaky's post. I do the same thing, running or dancing around the house. They're pretty dumb looking dances so I'm glad nobody's watching. (inb4 cliches)

an odd tendency to imagine what sex with certain people (either in the room or very far away) would be like in situations that make the thought(s) much worse.

I have a lot of these.

No. You put the box down wrong, let me pick it up and do it again.
Singing to myself. (All my songs are brilliant)sometimes people get scared of me
Sometimes I counter pain with more pain
ROlling my ankles
This weird thing I do with my thumbs I will video tape for you guys
cracking my neck
Thinking of every possible scenario and outcome. Today I thought what if I was reading my book. I went through how the book would end. Then what if I got murdered while reading.
I got hit in the nose RIGHT ON THE TIP with a badminton birdie thing. After tearful LAUGHING i wanted to do it again
I used to be very quiet, people complained. Now I'm louder, people complain. IT'S ONE OR THE OTHER FOOLS
Thinking about everything about myself so know one can know me better than me
Sometimes I just start freaking out. I don't know why. It happens often while trying to sleep. I'm not even unconscious, WHY DID I MOVE LIKE I JUST WOKE FROM A NIGHTMARE.
I have so many more that you should just be my roommate, it would be nice to hear your reactions.

Assuming you are doing with your thumbs what I think you are doing, then we have these in common, except I crack even more things. Arms, legs, toes, back, everything.

I grab the bottom of my lips with my teeth when I want to be quiet, from the inside so no one knows I'm straining to keep shut.

I can do that grab-with-toes thing someone was talking about earlier.

I will scream "ow" before something even hits me or if it doesn't hurt (not really a scream, but a scream).

Oh.

Sometimes, if my throat itches, I raise my head and inhale. It actally works sometimes.

Also, anyone else like inflicting small pains on themselves? Not in like an emo cutting themself kind of way, but doing things like itching a rash, or something. It hurts, but somehow it feels good.

I have so many tics that crop up, it's not even funny.

When I was characterizing my characters in my story, I gave many of them habits or nervous tics. Later, I realized I had almost all of them to varying degrees, even one that I thought was silly (constant fiddling with things to pay attention).

I am everyone.

I don't think I can think of too many of my own tics but i pay attention to other people's when I want to add interesting tics to my characters.

I do that too, but like, I'm then aware that I do it. Like, foot tapping and stuff. I knew I did it, but I wasn't aware exactly until I saw other people do it and considered it a tic.

It's kinda silly I guess.

Whenever I lean forward too much on a chair, my right leg starts pumping up and down.

I tend to bounce my right leg up and down a lot. Also, I have this thing where I need to keep one hand busy at all times
