Marinated some chicken strips in lemon and herb, then pan fried with some died red capsicum left over from the paella. Simmered rice in chicken stock.
Holy crap was it tasty. Too late for photos.

Man you guys in this thread going like "Whoa man I made rice with chicken im such a genius" amuse me.
My brother made spaghetti with honey mustard/dijon mustard ranch sauce and chicken tonight and it was delicious and it was just like "man its like nearly 8:00 what are we doing for dinner man" "idk i'll whip something man like do you even cook bro".
I mean no offense I know not all of you get to grow up with like an entire extended family of martha stewarts in disguise.
You should see our thanksgiving and christmas dinners, maybe i'll take a picture of it next time around.

My mom's favorite comfort food ever to make for herself is just rice and tomatoes. Good thing she hasn't made it in a while because I am not a huge fan.
I think it's good for a tiny bit, but after a while it get old. Now if you added some sausage in there.... wow you got me.

Re: Jesus christ a food thread
Now its due time to share some cooking.
For my birthday my parents got me a cakepop pan! And months later I've finally decided to use it.

And what flavor am I using? Murder.

(People assume that red velvet cake is my favorite, but really the copious amount of red food colouring puts me off. )
And to add a little texture to these murder pops, all it requires is an egg, milk, and some oil.

NOW BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF IT.

With an eggbeater, because we need REAL MAN POWER to make this tasty.
Now doesn't that look like the pulpy remains of the people whom have defied me?
Better watch yourselves.

Fill em up half way, they expand while cooking, and filling up both sheets just makes an EXPLOSION OF CAKE.
DO YOU WANT THAT? HUH?

Now you got to wait for it for twenty minutes, patiently.

There's a lot left over to finish off later. *Like the ones I keep in cages.

Frosting? Yeah we're gunna put some frosting on these bitches.
But wait I don't have HEAVY CREAM. Well, I'll have to compromise.

wub wub wub wub wub

Ah, that seems to be the right texture. I think.

Now that you've waited profissiantly, and have checked to see if they were cooked all the way with a toothpick, you noticed some have grown little hats.
Avoid taking off the top pan for now, because you might BURN YOURSELF. AGAIN. LIKE I JUST DID.

Arn't they kawaii?

I fucked up a little.

okay I fucked up a lot.

I'm going to eat these fuckers anyway, because they turned out pretty tasty despite my incompetent decor.
Lets all agree that I cant make icing.

You can't compromise when it comes to packaged icing. If it says it needs heavy cream, do that. Otherwise, half and half or even regular milk might make it too drippy and loose. The Willow Witch wrote:Lets all agree that I cant make icing.
You're playing with dark magic that you don't understand.

I don't really get the point of adding stuff to Ramen other than spices or something. If you don't like it the way it is, and you are willing to do extra cooking, you might as well make your own entire dish. It's just noodles and broth and meat and veggies and spices. Simple.

Re: Jesus christ a food thread
Because a ramen block is inexpensive and the perfect serving size, plus it's getting closer to "real" ramen. I've used that picture before several times, most notably through chicken broth instead of water and an egg poached right in with the ramen.
Stuff goes here later.

Went to a birthday party for a friend yesterday, and since she likes to cook, she made dinner for all of us, gnocchi and angel hair pasta with meat and alfredo sauces. She bought the sauces from the store and added different spices to them. I'd never had gnocchi before and it was so good. The whole meal was good. My friend needs to have more birthdays.

For ⑨ day I made some English beef. It tasted nice but chewing through it felt like mining a rock with a toothpick.
