I'm pretty jealous of my cousin. She's only a year older than me but she goes to university and goes aboard to study and has a boyfriend and is better than me in everyway.

My stepmother dropped out of school around 16 because she was basically abandoned by her parents after they divorced.
She worked just to feed herself and her siblings.
She went and got her GED, went to community college, then went to a university and now graduated at the top of her class.

It took a lot of work, but it's certainly possible!

I can't say I've ever been there, but I've had something similar happen with me in the other person's shoes.
A guy I knew has had a crush on me since he met me. At first it was fine, and we flirted back and forth. Even facebattled once.
I didn't realize he was as serious as he was and, in retrospect, it must've seemed as though I was leading him on, and perhaps I was. It was entirely unintentional. He was sweet, and I never wanted to hurt him.
Anyway, I met a girl through a friend of his that ended up being my fiance, but when she and I started dating, I can only imagine he felt something similar to what you feel now.

Malum, if this person is anything like me, they're sorry. They hate that you feel the way you do, but it's out of their control, and they hate that fact as well. They hope you're alright and that you don't hold this against them, and they desperately hope that you meet someone better than they would be.
