Re: Confessions
That's a tragedy to me, Willow. Human contact is one of the most wonderful things in the world. I'm a very touchy person myself.

No, but now I have a urge to edit my post.Ame no Akai wrote:You guys are deliberately setting these up, aren't you.
The urges are so strong.

Re: Confessions
Hell, I deleted some of mine. As rustled as I am that people are even bringing it up where they shouldn't, I know reacting in anger would only fuel the argument.

Re: Confessions
I think I got superstitious.
I know how to use tarot cards, but I never use them unless I'm either really bored or really desperate. In the last week, I find myself using them like every second day for multiple times.
Either I started believing this crap, or I'm more desperate then I admit to myself (because the last two weeks were rather rough).

I think tarot cards are interesting. As long as you're not basing important decisions on it, I don't see the harm.

Re: Confessions
Oh, no I'm not. It's more of the basic "what will happen next". Which is, of course, incredibly vague. Yet I find myself using it so often in the last time. I think I'm just trying to calm myself like this that everything will still be a bit rough in the next time, but still going to be alright in the end.
I mean, you already see that I got everything under control. I guess it's just my scared nature shining trough here.

Re: Confessions
Until you realize Tarot cards are just playing cards. And are younger than the four-suit version you use to play poker.
Stuff goes here later.

Oh no, that makes them not fun to fortune tell with.

Research. Used to look into occult things back when I was in school. Was sort of fascinating to see how much stock people put into that sort of stuff.Chinmaster wrote:Cracked?Madican wrote:Until you realize Tarot cards are just playing cards. Re: Confessions
Normal tarot cards are easier for me since there is a picture telling me what's going on.
I know a fortune teller who used normal playing cards instead, and I think it's interesting to see how she could read anything from them. But then again it's still only a matter of learning which card means what. Still easier with pictures though. (And without a book I'd be helpless anyways)

Re: Confessions
I have a few tarot decks lying around.
I don't believe in any of it in the slightest, but you'd be amazed how often people will give you cheddar to do it.

Aunt Spoony, I want to know if gas prices are going to go down any time soon. How much per minute?

Re: Confessions
Who was it that was bitching about gas being 3.85 somewhere?
I wanted to say, man, we would have been jumping for joy if our fuel was that cheap. We were at 4.28 at the time. We are just now back down to 3.74 at the cheap minimart, and I must say, it is nice.
